Charmagne is currently transitioning from her current position at a DC-based non-profit focused on youth civic participation to a new position at the Minneapolis office of World Savvy. She has spent time in West Africa working on women's participation in peacebuilding and traveled to Uganda with a delegation of American and Ugandan youth to examine youth participation in conflict resolution and development. She has also worked to promote peace education for middle and high school youth in the DC area. She received her Master's degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University in May 2007 and her BA in Political Science and French from Grinnell College in 2003.Areas of interest:
